I am a great fan of the really informative website called www.jiujitsu.net
and I have been a member of this site for many years now, this is because
I’m truly so impressed with this online resource centre for the learning
of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, because of the vast information and tuition
available on the site, so because of this I shall continue to tell all of
my students, friends, and all other keen practitioners of Brazilian Jiu
jitsu, all about this excellent BJJ website.
I started my martial arts training as a young child in 1974, and since
that time, my quest for combat knowledge has lead me to understand that a
true combative martial artist must incorporate the fine skills and
techniques of this Brazilian Jiu Jitsu into their training routine,
because not only is it really important to know how to kick and punch, but
it is also very important to learn how to apply throws and takedowns, and
to have the rite positional control techniques to be able to apply the
correct effective ground fighting techniques, especially in a real fight.
This is the true way of training for a modern day warrior of this
millennium, so I always encourage students to use the www.jiujitsu.net
website as a reference point for BJJ resources that are available on this
informative website, this way they can learn the skills of how to bridge
the distance between themself and any violent opponent, and they learn how
to get into a body clinch, apply a takedown or throw, and take their
opponent to the ground where they can make use of a any BJJ control
position, then once the dominant position has been established, they will
know how to apply a joint lock or choke submission to end the fight.
I really like the way Professor Gene Simco teaches the techniques of
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, because he has a fantastic ability on how to break
the techniques down into components so that these students fully
understand the whole mechanics behind the the technique, and by teaching
the skills like this, it is so much easier to also teach the students how
to apply the many counters to these same attacking techniques.
I am a student of Supreme Grand Master Cacoy Canete of the Philippines,
and he teaches me the Filipino Stickfighting art called Cacoy Doce Pares
Eskrima Filipino Stick and Knife Fighting, he also teaches me the empty
hand martial art style called Cacoy Pangamot Filipino Jiu Jitsu, actually
he developed both of these styles over his 85 years of martial arts
training, actually he is 91 years of age now, and he is a very big fan of
the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well.
I have used the www.jiujitsu.net as my guide to learn more about the
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu style, and I have done this for more than 10 years
now, because I have’nt always had access to a good BJJ Instructor over the
years, so I am so proud of the hard work that Professor Gene Simco has
done to make his site one of the best resources on the internet for great
information about the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and he has also produced some
excellent books and DVDs about the subject.
As a matter of fact, he has now included the online BJJ training resource
to his website as well, so please take a look for yourself, and I am sure
you will enjoy it!
Well done to you Professor Gene Simco, what a fantastic effort you have
put into this Brazilian Jiu Jitsu website!
Thank You.

Hey Jiu-Jitsu.Net, Just got my [Custom DVD] video set yesterday and it's top

Hi guys,
I think what you guys are doing for the sport of BJJ is awesome! Great
material you have on your site. I have it on my desk top and I refer to
it always.
Thank you,
-- Dane Johnson
Hello.
I am an avid martial artist with experience in Wado Ryu karate, Hapkido &
Chin Na as well as some small-circle Jujitsu.
I am writing because I recently bought the "Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Basics"
book.
I watched the accompanying DVD & I am so impressed with Gene Simco's clear,
down to earth & humble instruction.
And on top of all that he seems like a really nice guy.
Even though I am not a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu player, I believe this
instruction will aid me as a complete martial artist (I am not suggesting
that one that is just into BJJ isn't).
I am thrilled to see the other products you offer on-line & I will be
purchasing some of them.
Would there be any way I could find out the name of band that I heard on
the DVD?
I am also a musician & I really liked the music.
Thank you & may God bless you.

WOW! Now that's what I call service! Same day shipping...worth every
penny of the shipping price. Thank you so much! My boyfriend is a great
fighter in training and will LOVE this book! It's all he can talk
about!! Thanks for making his Christmas wish come true!

I just wanted to thank you for standing by your product and getting me
a perfect copy of The Master Text 2nd Edition. Most companies would
have turned their back on me because they already had my money. You
went the extra step to keep me as a repeat customer and thats very
hard to find in this day and age. I enjoy utilizing both your books
and instructional dvds in helping to bring my game to the next level.
I look forward to all of your future releases."
-- Joseph Gilio, 10/2004
Just a short note to let you know at jiu jitsu.net how much help you have
been in the past year with our training. I teach at an native american reservation
and it is so isolated that the unemployment rate is about 95%. Many of the kids in
the community are turning to alcohol and drugs as a means of release.
One positve point is that jiu jitsu is there.
... your book the master text has been invaluable. We had to
wait until it was on sale, which was a steal. We look foward to your new book
and have saved for it...
I think this is the first time I have seen anyone who is willing
to give for the good of others and rest assured ...
we appreciate your generosity and goodwill. Keep up the great work.

This site kicks ass! You guys do a great job of representing BJJ.
It's so good to see you sharing information to the world at no price.
The Technique of the Week page is very easy to follow.
...the site is very easy to navigate through. Jiu-Jitsu Net
"taps out" any other martial art site out there. Thanks for keeping us
members updated on the techniques page.
